Sitting here feeling perfectly tired because the emotions are on a high from all the love and blessings we are receiving from our Cape Town fam.
Quietly listening to a sleep over conversation as Umi’s best bud tells him how much he will miss him. Then it occurs to me, it was never me to begin with. It is Umi who brought all these amazing people in my life.

Lord I thank you for this child, he is like a bee. He brings us the best of your people. His family extends beyond the natural structures. A charm who is strong and set in his ways. So kind and giving. The other day I watched him give away one of his best cars that was only one day old. His best friend bought him a bat man costume, delighted by the surprise he decided to also give something. “here Busa, look what I got you” between you and me, the car was actually a gift from his aunt.

We can learn a lot of from kids. They are kind, unattached to material things. They reciprocate love in its purest form.
